GREAT FUN WAS HAD BY ALL AT THE AWARDS CEREMONY. COMBINED WITH A CHRISTMAS PARTY, EVERYONE HAD A GREAT TIME. CONGRATULATIONS TO CARMEN CREEKBAUM FOR WINNING THE 1D SADDLE AND TO CHRISTINA HARVEY FOR WINNING THE SURPRIZE ALL-AROUND SADDLE DONATED BY JUDY WIEBERG. BUCKLES WERE WON BY KRISTEN HOLT, DESIREE CANNON, CRISTINA HARVEY, JUDY WIEBERG, KACI SILBERSCHLAG AND KHRISTINA SPITALE. SPONSOR BUCKLES WENT TO KENT'S AUTOMOTIVE AND DR. MAUREEN ADAMS, DVM. THE "GATEKEEPER" BUCKLE WENT TO JIM CHASE AND THE "DRAGMASTER" BUCKLE WENT TO MARTY CULVERWELL. COULD NOT HAVE DONE IT WITHOUT THEM!!!

The competition was tight. One run at the RLEC seperated Carmen and Kristen. Youth came down to the last event, with the title going to Kaci Silberschlag on Cash on one of her better runs. What a time to do it!! Kristen won 2D, Desiree won 3D, and Christina Harvey, 14 years old, our student, took 4D in only her second year of competition. For finishing 1st in 4D and Poles and 2d in Youth, Christina Harvey took home a saddle donated by Judy Wieberg. You guys did great! D. Ott and Aikens did not compete as a youth in 6 of our events events. Dallas got caught up in a rule as he turned 16 mid-season. What a bummer!
Remember one had to compete in at least 6 of our events to be elegible for an end of season award, so some of those high dollar winners, especially those from CA, OR and MT at the 8/15-17 event, got knocked out. It was very close in the end.
The single highest earning for any date was entered, even though a rider may have taken home more than 1 check that date. On 8/1 that was Lita, on 8/9 it was Kristen Holt wth 3 checks. 8/15-17 saw 3 getting more than one check per day. Those checks ARE NOT totalled.
PLEASE REVIEW FOR ACCURACY. WE HAVE GONE BACK OVER EVERY NUMBER AS WELL. It was all pretty basic for the awards, but if there are mistakes, PLEASE let me know. What I am showing above is what we are going with at this time.
