Lita is having a memorial race for Cari Carlson on March 7 at the Rockin' LJ Arena in Washoe Valley.  $2500 added.  Service at noon.  Race continues afterwards.  All profits go to American Cancer Society and a scholorship fund in Cari's name.  NEW entry form and directions to the event in "Entry Forms".  Additional parking at Lit's.  Entry forms come to us here at SPSH.  We are putting on the event.  It is WPRA, AW4D and ACBRA approved.

Schedule of events will be much reduced this year.  We are going barrel racing ourselves!  We will do Lita's event and the Wild Horse and Burro show.  We'll let you know about others.

Cari Carlson Barrel Race Entry Form

Directions to Rockin' L.J. Arena:  From Reno -  Go south towards Carson City on Highway 395.  You willl go up a big hill with a concrete divider. At the top of the hill, turn left on Eastlake Blvd.  Stay on Eastlake until you pass the 7-11.  The  first street after the 7-11 is Esmeralda.  Go right on Esmeralda, and it will end at Lakeshore Drive.  To park at Litas house, and everyone should and just ride the 1/4 mile to the arena, drive straight across Lakeshore into the driveway that leads to Lita's arena.  To get to the Rockin LJ Arena, turn left on Lakeshore.   Rocking LJ will be the about 1/4 mile down on your right.

From Carson -  Take 395 north towards Reno.  Take the Eastlake Blvd exit.   Esmeralda is the street about a block before the 7-11.  Turn left on Esmeralda.
Anyone we can get to park at Lita's place will help.  So all our helping hands and close friends that are aware need to park there and we will shuttle down..





 

Directions to SPSH Arena:  From I-80 north, take 395 north to exit 74 (Lemmon Drive).  Go right on Lemmon Drive and go approximately 4.2 miles (go past the Lemmon Valley Arena turnoff) and turn right on Waterash.  Go the the end of Waterash and go right to Matterhorn.  Left on Materhorn and up and over the hill to Antelope Valley Road.  Right on Antelope Valley road and left on Serpentine (dirt).  Down Serpentine 1/2 mile and right on Alum Rock.  Arean is 1/2 mile down on right.  Right onto property for parking.  Registration at arena.
